Family Night Fun with shared meal on 2nd Friday of the Month

Friday Family Games Night

Join us once a month for our Friday night family games and shared meal.

From 6:15 to 8pm on the 2nd Friday of the month during the school term, we welcome families (all ages – young and old) to join us to socialise and enjoy fun activities together (including badminton, table tennis, bowls and board games) followed by a shared meal.

Those attending are encouraged to bring food to share, and we get a great collection of food and people. It is a fun time for everyone. All are Welcome.

Contact Tangi Joseph 0226573223 or just turn up.

Elevate Youth

Youth Group Activities

The Youth Group is now known as Elevate Youth and the youth have been involved in a number of activities over the last few months.

In September there was a visit to the ten-pin bowling alley, which was organised by the Yedarm youth group who invited Elevate along.

This is part of a relationship building exercise which we hope to add to.

A visit to Glo-put (mini golf) also took place in June as part of the farewell to Mastell, Kimi, and Ananiah Matapo and was thoroughly enjoyed by all who took part.

Sunday Mornings for kids

We are a Kids Friendly Church.

Children and their families are welcomed – they are the future of our Church and we consider it important that they are welcomed and nurtured.

Children play an active role in our Sunday morning services. There are also activities available at the back of the Chapel for small children. Older children are welcome to stay for the service, or move out to the Church lounge where activities will be provided.

Our K@MP “Kids @ Mairangi Presbyterian” Sunday School, was set up for children to explore their faith through both indoor and outdoor activities. Children are encouraged to both increase their understanding of the bible and learn about how they can apply Christian principles in their every-day life. (K@MP is currently in a rebuilding phase)
