About Us

We meet every Sunday at 10am for a Worship Service

Mairangi Bay Presbyterian Church

Our church is a mixture of people who have in common a desire to follow Jesus in the 21st century and their love and respect for one another.

We are experimenting with different ways of doing church which include impromptu activities.

The church building is a busy place. In addition to our Sunday service, we have a dementia social group, a friendship group, a Mainly Music group for pre-schoolers, English Conversation Groups, home study and support groups, and a monthly Friday night games evening with a shared meal. We also have an Indian congregation.

The church is used by several community groups and a Korean Church. This website acts as a guide to the various church activities.

Why not join us?

We offer companionship, opportunities for learning and discovering more about spiritual growth, opportunities for leadership, and how one can be a Christian in the 21st century.

The service is led by our Minister the Reverent Dr Tokerau Joseph, a member of the parish or an invited speaker. This service is followed by morning tea.

On the first and 3rd Saturdays of the month at 6:00 PM the Indian congregation meets for worship where English and Hindi are used. This service is followed by a meal.

Everyone is welcome to these services.

We also have a Korean Church that meets to worship in the church every Sunday from 12pm until 4:30pm.

We are a Community Centered parish with a strong emphasis on pastoral care.
